IWR1843BOOST:static clutter removal and range profile (zero doppler)

Part Number: IWR1843BOOST

I am using the demo visualizer to examine range profile information from the IWR1843BOOST board.

When static clutter removal is disabled, I could observe non-moving information reflected in the range profile.

However, when I activate clutter removal, the range profile appears different from what I expected.

When a person in front of the radar is not moving, there are no significant signals visible, as anticipated.

However, when a person is moving, I can see strong signals in the range profile at the distance where the person is standing.

In my understanding, clutter removal should eliminate static information, and the range profile displays information at 0 doppler.

Therefore, even in the case of movement, the range profile should show 0 doppler, indicating that significant signals should not be visible.

Why might this be happening?
