AWR2944EVM: Why is the max unambiguous range "Scene Selection" different from the one in the scene window?

Hi TI experts,

With using mmWave Demo Visualizer, I adjusted the slider of the max unambiguous range to 40m in "Scene Selection", but the max unambiguous range was 24.285m in the "Scene" window. Please see the picture below. 

Question 1: Why they are not coherent? 

Question 2: According to this thread below, I have learned 0.8 of a safety factor which was used to account for the Nyquist limit. However, I have no idea why 0.5 of a safety factor is considered in the "Scene" window. Could you help me to clarify it?
