The FPGA on the DCA1000EVM was programmed using the bit file included in mmWave Studio 3.1.1.

AWR2944EVM was connected to DCA1000EVM according to the AWR2944EVM user guide.

When using the AWR2944EVM alone, there are no problems with writing in the Flashing mode (SOP mode 5) or demo operation in the Functional mode (SOP mode 4).
