IWR6843: Pause MSS in CCS also pause RSS

Hi expert,

Customer is trying to use radar_toolbox_1_20_00_11\source\ti\examples\Area_Scanner to do some tests and they found if they pause MSS in CCS then RSS will also pause (no RF signal).

Customer want to know if the frame is trigger by s/w in MSS in this example? Then why pause MSS will impact RSS?

In theory the pausing of MSS should keep the front end running. Are they seeing it stop?

Hello Allen,

I apologize I misread the product being discussed.

For IWR6843, the BSS/RSS will keep on going and send a new frame start automatically. You should not be able to get to the next frame without an error if you pause the MSS, but you will likely get through that frame processing, or at least that task.
