IWRL6432: No display on the average power using the low power visualizer in sdk 5.3

Hi,

Refer to the user guide in toolbox1.20, run the mmw demo and motion_and_presence_detection, using the low power visualizer, there should have average power value display run time. While i burn the prebuilt bin in sdk 5.3, also use the low power visualizer in sdk5.3, send the default cfg in respective demo profile folder, while cannot see the average value. Any problem here?

    Hi Andy,

    Some of the EVMs do not have the necessary current measurement devices to measure the power accurately. You will need to see if the device has an INA226 or an INA228 placed onboard. It is quite likely that your device has an INA226 placed onboard, which will not allow you to measure the power. I would recommend replacing the components as described in section 5 here.

    Or you could measure power of the entire EVM, which will be more than the power consumed by the IWRL6432 device, but it will at least be an (over)estimate.
