Hello,

We are currently working with the HDC2010EVM evaluation board and would like to interface with it using python and the pyserial library. Can you please provide us with the documentation describing the serial protocol format and list of commands which may be sent to HDC2010EVM board, both to configure the onboard MSP430 as well as control and obtain data from the onboard HDC2010 sensor.

Hi Andy,

We don't support the use of HDC2010EVM with other software. Please use the EVM with the TI provided software to evaluate the HDC2010 device. The software can be downloaded from https://www.ti.com/tool/HDC2010EVM

The HDC2010EVM was designed with a breakable PCB section that allows you to separate the HDC2010 sensor from the USB controller. If you need further access to the sensor, I recommend connecting it to your own I2C host controller. There is an app note as well as example code available to help you write software for the HDC2010 sensor.
