AWRL1432: Question about GPADC

Hi,

My customer has two questions on AWRL1432 GPADC. Would you pls help?

1. Is there a clamping diode inside the GPADC port to clamp the input voltage?

2. If the input of GPADC beyond 1.8V, for example, 3V with small current. Will this damage GPADC pin or the device?

Hi Chris,

1) There is no clamping diode inside GPADC port.

2) In the attached snippet you can see that input voltage range of GPADC is 0 - 1.8v. You shouldn't exceed this operating condition. It will damage the GPADC.
