TMP112: Address when floating A0

Hi team.

While floating A0, is the address of TMP112 fixed or uncertain? If fixed, what's the address? Customer wants to place 5pcs TMP112 on the same I2C bus. Thanks!

Hi Naizeng,

The TMP112's I2C address will be undefined when the A0 pin floats. It will choose one of the possible 4 addresses, and may change at any time. TI sells I2C multiplexors that would allow you to have 5 TMP112 on the same bus. https://www.ti.com/interface/i2c/switches-and-multiplexers/products.html
