Hello,

I want to write my own PC program instead use the TI program "Sensing Solutions EVM GUI". I can get the channel values via comport with the command "1". It is also possible to set the any R/W register via comport or it is only with i2c possible? The programm "Sensing Solutions EVM GUI" can also set the register via comport. How is the command?

The FDC1004 interface is exclusively I2C.
This interface must be used if you want to read or write to the device registers.

Ah ok I understand. But the program "Sensing Solutions EVM GUI" communicates also via comport and it can read or set the register. How is this possible?

I means with the evaluation board FDC1004EVM can the program "Sensing Solutions EVM GUI" read and write in register
