Hi Radar Champ

One customer says they can't open the Altium Design File because the company only has PADS tools.
PAD Tool attempted to convert to PADS format using alt2pads.pads.exe utility but could not complete due to the following error.

I don't know the reason why it failed because it was not converted to PCB ASCII File format when Aitium Desing Saving. Could you share the saved in PCB ASCII File Format so that I can import in PADS?
Otherwise, please share the PCB file.

Please share DXF file firstly. However they still need PADS conversion.

Please help this topic as the biz potential is hugh related with HKMC, South Korea.

Thanks for your kind answer.

BTW. Customer is still unable to open your shared file above. both pcb and dwg files.

I supposed they have lack of tool resource. they just have PADS pcb tool only.

They still need the followings

- PADS importable design file by Altium : Current Altium file does not work from PADS import.

- Layout files for each floor in PDF format

- DXF file : They dont have application to open DWG. They may have No-AUTODESK too.

Can you also please provide PADS format export file or share contact point of IWR6843ISK EVK design team? by Mistral?

Since Many of customer still faces these Altium to PADS/OrCAD translation issue.

Also let us know which PADS version able to import Altium design file as Customer unable to import Altium design file from their PADS professional VX2.8.

Can you please confirm for me the name of the EVM you are looking for?

1843AOP EVM? or 6843ISK EVM? or 6843AOP EVM?
