Hello Expert,
The most important specification is for selecting this part is what the tolerance is below 20lux.
Could you please share the data ASAP?
Best Regards,
Michael

Hi Michael,
The accuracy spec for this device is +-20%, which can be drastically reduced by performing per unit calibration.
Thank you,
Brent Elliott
Hi Brent,
Thanks for your feedback.
I want to clarify about your data.
1. Is it correct that the accuracy data means that an error of ±4lux occurs when 20lux is input?
2. If we do calibrate, how much will accuracy improve?
* Here is another question.
I'd like to know what the specs below linearity mean.
Could you please to explain about my each inquiries?
1. What does the typ. % value mean?
2. What's the % of each min. and max. for linearity?
Best Regards,
Michael
Hi Michael,
1. Is it correct that the accuracy data means that an error of ±4lux occurs when 20lux is input?
Yes, this is correct.
2. If we do calibrate, how much will accuracy improve?
If calibrated properly, the sensor can achieve an accuracy within only a few percent, as the only limiting factor at this point would be the linearity of the device.
1. What does the typ. % value mean?
The typ % value represents the typical expectation of linearity from the device, ie. across the devices input range you should expect from most devices for the linearity to be within 2% for > 80 lux and 5% for < 80 lux. There is not a min/max spec but we do not expect it to vary significantly for standard light sources.
Thank you,
Brent Elliott
Hi Brent,
Thanks for your kind support.
Do you have any guide document (included how to setup environment) & explain to calibrate this device?
Our application is security camera.
Best Regards,
Michael
