My customer is looking for a hall sensor for the following application.

- For counting the number of locker door openings

- Polarity is bipolar

- Low leakage current product with push pull type

Hello JH,

Thanks for considering to use Texas Instruments. You might consider TMAG5231, DRV5032, or TMAG5328. Those switches have omnipolar variants that allow them to trigger for sufficiently strong positive or negative fields. The current consumption is in the uA range and the devices are push-pull.

Does the MAGNETIC RESPONSE in the table below indicate that the device's OUT is output as High or Low?

Hello JH,

Yes magnetic response indicates the device output response. For example if the measured magnetic field for the TMAG5231A1C is >-1.8mT and <1.8mT, the device output will be high, otherwise the output will be low.
