DCA1000EVM: To run LVDS based streaming for ADC data with DCA1000EVM, can we use CLI commands available in mmWave Studio ?

Hi,

To run LVDS based streaming for ADC data with DCA1000EVM, can we use CLI commands available in mmWave Studio ? If so which binary should be flashed to read Antenna data via DCA1000EVM.

(mmWave MCU Plus SDK suggests to use Studio CLI unlike the mmWave SDK 3.6, hence the confusion)

Hello gayatri,

Currently there is no support for the studio cli for the AWR2944 at all as it has not been developed.
Studio CLI itself is a separate application on Ti resource explorer for devices like AWR1843.
Once developed it will be available on the TI resource explorer.

Does the OOB demo provided for AWR2944 support capturing raw ADC data via DCA using DCA CLI commands?

Hello Gayatri,

Yes it is possible with the SDK, you can load the normal demo and then load the following profile: C:\ti\mmwave_mcuplus_sdk_04_04_01_02\mmwave_mcuplus_sdk_04_04_01_02\ti\demo\awr294x\mmw\profiles\tdm_awr2944\profile_LVDS.cfg

This will stream data from LVDS, you will have to take care of the DCA1000 EVM, by either using the studio to start the capture, or use the DCA studio CLi to start the capture before the AWR2944 starts sending the data.
