HDC1080: On field calibration

Dear TI Team,

we are using HDC1080 part in our product, now a days product which are giving to our client, they are asking for the product on field calibration.

So kindly provide us process or method to calibration this sensor on field or in our factory.

    Hello Manthan,

    As per the Datasheet, the HDC1080 comes calibrated from factory, however, besides factory calibration there is no on-device calibration available on the HDC1080.

    I did however want to provide two possible solutions:

    Our newer HDC3020 was developed with an on-device calibration system using a setup defined in the HDC 3020 Silicon User Guide on page 17 (I've attached the file below). If you are using an MCU with your setup you can develop an algorithm based off this approach to calibrate your device.

    Alternatively, if your system allows, you can also swap your HDC1080 for an HDC3020 which has its own on-device calibration.
