Hi,
You can find the function in the DFP user guide.
Thanks,
Pradipta.
I have check this specificaiton, for AWR2243, I think the ROM shall have,it has two part SW compoment Master SS firmware (Only for AWR2243 ES1.1),,Radar SS firmware, but for AWR2944, it seems it is not this case, no code stored in AWR2944. I am correct ?
Hi,
For AWR294x devices as well, the RSS is programmed by TI.
Thanks,
Pradipta.
But from the block diagram of Radar subsytem in TCM, it doesn't say BSS contains a ROM area, am I correct ? all the code execution in BSS is download from external flash.
Hi,
The code from the external flash is loaded onto the user programmed cores in the MSS and DSS. The RSS core is not user programmed core and comes pre-programmed with TI firmware.
Thanks,
Pradipta.
I have checked with software developer, TI provides DFT binary code for customer to store in external flash, which is for BSS . would you please have a double confirm on this ?
Hi,
What I meant earlier with my comment is that the RSS is to be programmed by the TI firmware only. The user cannot modify or add contents onto it. RSS core is not a user programmed core meaning you cannot edit the code going into the RSS. It will be only loaded by the binary code provided.
Thanks,
Pradipta.
