PGA900: Symmetrical Output Signal

Hi IT-Team,

We have a differential pressure sensor with a sensitivity of ~ +-20mV/V.

The sensor signal must be linearized and temperature compensated and the output should be read out both analogue and digitally.

When searching I found PGA305, PG900.

Now my question: is it possible to configure the output signal of these ICs with a zero offset, e.g. 2V, and the signal would then

be e.g. 2V +- 1V so that we can represent the differential pressure in the output voltage? Unfortunately I couldn't find anything in the data sheet or the application notes.

Hi Michael,

Welcome to the E2E forum! I believe this is doable as a part of the calibration, but I have not actually tried this. Give me a few days to confirm.

I have not had time to actually try this out, but I did find this additional information in the following post:

The above discussion gives a basic explanation of taking a differential input (+/- 20mV) and calibrating to the DAC output of 0 to 3V where 0V is -20mV and 3V is +20mV.
