I have the MMWCAS-DSP-EVM, paired with the MMWCAS-RADAR-EVM. I have been following the "mmwave_studio_cascade_user_guide.pdf", to set these up. I got up until step 4.1. At step 4.2 it says Select the TDA firmware. I have a DSP-EVM. I didn't know where my firmware image is. Luckily, my SD card was already flashed, and everthing was working as expected.
So, I go on to mmWave Studio, and try to perform Use Case 1: Test Source. This fails. So I move onto Use Case 2: MIMO Config. This works fine, and then I run the Cascade_Capture script. Then I click Transfer Files, and I'm able to get my files out.
Later, I got to do the Lua scripts again. It works as usual, but it doesn't generate the bin files. I verify this by checking in the directory I have set.
I go through the setup again. I try Use Case 1. It works, this time. But It's not generating files. I try Use Case 2. Same story, no files generated.
I tried changing the user changeable values in the Cascade_Capture script. But no matter what, .bin files aren't being generated.
I tried performing the actions through the GUI. But still, no files are generated.
I then tried a clean flash with a new SD card. I found an image recently on www.ti.com/.../03.08.00.00
I did the steps as described earlier. Still no file output. What could be causing this?
To reiterate, it was working, and now it's not.
