Good day,

May I ask about the accuracy of step response?

The temperature step response is shown in Figure 3 and 4 of the datasheet, but how much variation is there between ICs?

Hi Shingu,

Variation of 30 IC is is shown in Figure 1. Variation is covered by Trip Point Accuracy specification in the 7.5 EC table.

The trip points are configured in production test. The temperature accuracy is also trimmed in production test. All orderable variants of TMP303 use the same silicon die.

Is production test a test after assembly? Is it a wafer test?

We use both wafer test and post-assembly test on our products. The details of production tests are TI proprietary information. The tests are designed to ensure datasheet specifications.
