AWR1843BOOST: Can I apply mmwave radar raw adc data to music algorithm？

hi

as I known, the radar raw data is IF adc data format. I study music algorithm to handle the radar raw data which transmit to my PC from EDMA.

my question is : how could I apply raw data to music  algorithm? what the number of  target's DOA direction. I just test one target（one Human no any moving）,and got the raw data.

I test many times, the DOA result  let me down.

and I want to know whether Ti's DOA algorithm almost is Capon? could you give me some advice?

    Hi,

    Unfortunately our team only supports the algorithms implemented on the EVMs.

    For studying music algorithm you will need to implement this algorithm in python or matlab.

    We can support the raw data capture if needed.

    Regarding Capon algorithms, there are some demos which use Capon but these demos don't use the AWR1843BOOST EVM.

    I recommend you start a new thread about Capon. It will be assigned to a different team
