TI-SCB: Have two dead sensor control boards now

Hello! My second TI SCB just died. Was running fine now one LED comes on and doesn't show up in Win 10 Device Manager as a serial port. Tried changing machines and cables. Please help, I probably need an RMA for the second, was bought direct from TI. Thanks, Dan

Hey Dan,

This is our technical forum, so I can't help with RMAs.

When just the power LED is on, and the device is not in the serial ports, that usually means it has entered device firmware update mode. Try opening the GUI and going to file → program device. (See the TO-SCB User's Guide for more information, https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slau839). When in DFU mode, you should see it in the device manager as either TivaWare or Stellaris Device Firmware Upgrade:

Specifically, I recommend making sure the device is in DFU mode then doing the "boot_usb.inf" driver only.

If that does not fix the issue, can you be more specific on what you were doing when it stopped working and which EVM you had it connected to?
