PGA305: Recommended manufacturer and model number of external temperature sensor

Hi,

I am considering connecting an external temperature sensor to the PGA305.
EVM does not have any information on external temperature sensors, so please provide information on recommended manufacturers.

    Hi Conor,

    There are many possible choices you can use and that is why a particular type is not suggested or recommended.  

    The current output is selectable at 25uA, 50uA, 100uA or 500uA.  So what is chosen depends on the current output you decide to use and whether you are using RTD or thermistor.  If you use gain, then you will need to determine the temperature range of your application.

    Hi Bob B,

    OK, I understand. For the thermistor, consider TMP61.
    If you have any recommended model numbers for external pressure sensors for the PGA305, please let me know.

    I'm not aware of any specific pressure sensors used in testing.
