I am conducting a study using IWR8643ISK.

The following guide states that the parameters can be changed in the demo.

・3D_people_tracking_detection_layer_tuning_guide

I installed mmWave-SDK and wrote the following binary file to EVM.

・xwr68xx_mmw_demo.bin

I am trying to check the plots using mmWave Demo Visualizer, but when I send the following commands the plots do not show up.

・SEND CONFIG TO MMWAVE DEVICE

The device itself seems to be recognized.

What are the possible causes?

Hello,

xwr68xx_mmw_demo.bin is compatible with the browser mmWave Demo Visualizer so there is no problem there. After flashing the device, can you confirm that you set the EVM into functional mode?

Hello,

EVM is set to function mode.

It seems to be due to the fact that the version of mmWave Demo Visualizer I was using was 4.4.0.

I found ver 3.6.0.

Plots are now displayed when using the mmWave Demo Visualizer in ver 3.6.0.

The Scene Selection settings were automatically determined when Setup Details was set to the following settings.

Is it OK to use the following settings when IWR6843ISK is used?

Once setup details are chosen, you are free to adjust scene selection parameters however you'd like. What ends up happening is that the configuration file that is sent to the sensor in order for it to start will be changed to match the desired settings. Your setup details is correct for 6843
