AWR1642BOOST: How get the Short range radar without running SRR Visualizer (GUI of Short range radar)

In AWR1642BOOST, Short range radar project in the ADAS section, i noticed after flash the demo bin file of short range radar project, i checked the AWR1642boost kit by using Docklight (serial monitor) with 921600 baudrate but the i won't get any data from the data port (COM20 - in my PC) but , now after next time i opened the SRR Visualizer (GUI) and select the ports (COM19- UART port and COM20- Data port) and hit the OKAY button i get visualization of SRR (short range radar) and i closed the GUI ,now i opened the Docklight (serial monitor) with required baudrate now i get the data from data port (COM20) , now i powered OFF the AWR kit and and again checked the serial monitor this time also i won't get data so , how to i get the data without SRR GUI ?

Hi Sankar,

You would have to send any config information that is required by the SRR demo through some other application instead of the visualizer. (Basically, do what the visualizer does elsewhere). This application could be a python script or direct serial write using Tera Term and so on. Once the demo is configured and ready to run, you can go ahead and run the demo without the visualizer.

What are the configuration details of the SRR demo, where can i find it ? Is there any tutorial available for sending config via UART using TeraTerm? I don't want to send configurations every time. Is it possible to use this version?
