Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH,
Hello! I am at my wits end with flashing a mmWave device.
I am using the Silicon Labs cp210x (latest) for OSX and a TI IWR6843AOP. I cannot for the life of me get uniflash and the TI device to talk over these virtual com ports. Does anyone have a voodoo ritual for getting this to work? The TI forum experts were not helpful as it seemed they were incapable of reading all the way to the end of a paragraph.
-
The device talks fine to TI's online demo software, so I know the device is capable of communicating.
-
I bought a brand new usb-c to micro-usb DATA cable for this device. No luck.
-
I do not own, nor have access to a windows PC.
-
Tried online and locally installed uniflash, neither work. It fails when trying to open the com port.
-
My virtual com ports ('enhanced' and standard) show up as /dev/tty.SLAB_USBtoUART and /dev/tty.SLAB_USBtoUART3
-
Screenshot of error in the link. Same error regardless of which port I use.
