Hello,

I am using the AWR1642BOOST to execute a blinking LED program using GPIO. I have generated a `.xer4f` file, but when I attempt to use the `loadti` command to run an executable on my board, I encounter an error because an `.out` file is required, and I only have a `.ccxml` file and a `.xer4f` file. How can I resolve this issue?

Hello Asim,

Can you please first go through the steps to load the demo present in: C:\ti\mmwave_sdk_03_06_00_00-LTS\docs\mmwave_sdk_user_guide.pdf

Also please go through this document: Using CCS Debug (ti.com)

You can load .xer4f on the CCS via a debugger only not on uniflash.

I understand, and I have followed these steps to load .xer4f on CCS.

But, I want to load using the "loadti" command using cmd prompt.

You can use loadti to load executables with .xer4f file extenstion.

The error you are getting is unrelated to program load. It looks like a target configuration error.

Please note that loadti, by default, does not support multi-core environments. The AWR1642 is a multi-core device with a Cortex R4 and a C674x. Your target configuration should bypass the DSP to get loadti to work.

Correction - this is not accurate. There is a -cpu option to specify which core to connect to. You will need to use this parameter to specify the R4.
