LM26: Conditions of acceptance for UL 873 and UL 60730-1 under UL file E232195

Part Number: LM26

Dear IT,

I used TI p/n LM26CIM5 in our design.  It is part of our overheat temperature protection.

we are performing industry safety tests for our equipment and the used device is part of our critical overheat safety.  Our safety lab is asking for supporting documents for this part with regards to UL873 and UL60730-1, under UL file E232195.

Could you please let us know the conditions of acceptability?  Could we get a copy of it so we can provide it to our safety lab?

Anything that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

thanks and I am looking forward to your response.

Best Regards,

william N.

  • Hello William,

I dont have these documents myself, but I have reached out to our internal TIer who handles all the UL certifications, so I will wait for her response and send you the documents if I am able to (and if we have them at all). I hope to have that from her by the end of this week, so I will reply back on this thread once I have an answer.

Have you tried reaching out to UL directly?

    Thanks

    -Alex Thompson

  • William,

I was able to get feedback from our TIer who deals with UL, and was able to dig through UL's website enough to find what you are looking for. I was able to find that LM26 certification for UL 873.

Is this sufficient? I cant post it on E2E, but I could email you if you're open to it and have an NDA with TI.

    Thanks

  • Hi Alex,

Our lab is looking for "Condition of Acceptability" for LM26 certification for UL873.  UL website doesn't have this information listed.  Please advise.  thanks.

    William N.

  • Alright I was able to find what you are looking for. Do you have an NDA with TI? I think I can still send it to you over email without one, but I need to check. Once I get confirmation that I can email it to you, I will get your email from your E2E profile and close the thread. That OK?
