TMP75C: Not meet max T(hddat) specification

Part Number: TMP75C

Hi Sensors team,

I`m Taemin who is FAE in Korea.

My customer uses TMP75C, however customer board can not meet T(hddat) specification 0~900ns.

The measured data is 1.3 us on customer board with FAST MODE(SCL 100kHz setup).

In this case, what is the expected side effect?

Thanks and Happy new year!

Taemin.

  • Taemin,

100 kHz is standard speed, which does not have specs given in the datasheet. Hold time does not need to be less than 900ns, 1.3us will be fine at that clock frequency. The important thing to understand is that hold time can be as long as the user wants, as long as it does not violate the setup time for the next SCL pulse.

    Thanks
