I am trying to understand that working principle Binary Phase Modulation. As fas as I understood, advantages of use BMP is increasing SNR values and more illumunate the whole scene (especially when the two transmitter transmit with opposite phase). I am following Radar Hardware Accelerator User's Guide - Part 2 (Rev. A) documentation for obtain informatin about BPM. There is a point I do not understand in the working principle of BPM.
We needs to undo this modulation in Hardware Accelerator before FFT process. I think the modulation needs to be undone with BPM Removal druing the pre processing phase in hardware accelerator (In Core Control Unit)
And also I didn't find further information about undo modulation of BPM. Where is the happen multiplication with +1 or -1 ? Is the bpm pattern already a version of the input samples values multiplied by -1 or +1? Is this multiplication happen index by index of chirp ? And is the main reason for using BPM in vital sign and tracking application to obtain more effective results in tracking algorithms?
