IWR6843ISK-ODS: Halting Chirp Transmission if NumberOfFrames=0 in Lua

Hi,

I am currently working with the DCA1000EVM in conjunction with the IWR6843ISK-ODS for capturing raw ADC data. I hope to seek your guidance regarding the cessation of chirp transmission after completing the data recording process.

I have successfully implemented a Lua script in mmWaveStudio, configuring it with NumberOfFrames=0 to ensure continuous chirp transmission. The Lua script concludes without any errors, and the DCA1000EVM's LED continues to blink, indicating the sustained transmission of chirps. However, upon completing the raw ADC data recording, I find myself uncertain about how to halt the ongoing chirp transmission.

I have attempted to close mmWaveStudio, but the chirp transmission persists, and I am hesitant to unplug the sensor for fear of potential damage. Could you kindly provide guidance on how to appropriately cease the chirp transmission once the data recording is complete?

    Hello Pushkar,

    If you want to stop the sensor from chirping after recording is finished, you do not have to fear potential damage from unplugging, feel free to unplug at any time in order to stop the device. You could also hit the NRESET button on the EVM itself
