hi,
as you know, for awr1843, according to the formular, the angular resolution is decided by:
TI's doc says, N=12, the angular resolution is approximately14.3 deg?
I put this picture here,
if here TI‘s doc makes a mistake? I check my result I calculated 9.55 deg.
my list:
N=4, the result is 28.6 deg.
N=8, the result is 14.3 deg.
please give me an accurate ansower, thanks.

Hi Wembanyama,
This is the virtual antenna array for AWR1843.
To calculate the azimuth angular resolution, you should consider the elements present in the azimuth direction. Here there are 8 elements in azimuth direction.
So, N = 8. Azimuth angular resolution = 14.3°

if here TI‘s doc makes a mistake?
hi, there 12 virtual Rx means 14.3°,it's wrong in this doc? thank you.

Hi Wembanyama,
In the document, individual phrases are correct. But the combined statement is incorrect. Virtual antenna array has 12 elements. But for azimuth angular resolution, we consider only 8 elements. So, the angular resolution is 14.3°.
