TMP1827: Suggestion of the programmer for TMP1827

Dears,

If a customer needs to program the TMP1827 samples, do we have a recommended programmer? Is the burner equipped with the EVM OK to be used? 
Are there any commonly used mass production tools to program the TMP1827 that you would recommend?

Hi Andrew,

The EVM and its associated GUI is the only complete tool we offer for configuring the TMP1827. We do not have a socket for the EVM, but there are provisions to connect the EVM hardware to proto board. Even with a hardware solution, clicking through the GUI would not be appropriate for production.

There are various software examples to help get started programming the TMP1827/6 using an MCU, and that would be the route I would advise for a production environment:
