Need suggestion for selecting a radar/sensor

Im trying to build a radar that could sense any object within a 4 meter radius. I need to view the result in graph format in a computer and also i need to send a signal to the microcontroller like esp32. kindly suggest a product from Texas Instruments for this application.

Hello Boopathy,

When you say any object, how small of an object is expected? Do you want to detect the ground or walls? There are many factors to consider, but at a range of 4 meters either IWR6843AOP, IWR6843ISK, or IWRL6432EVM will work fine for evaluating.

Hello,

I will warn you that unless the object is both reflective and high in volume, a 1sqcm object might be hard for mmWave Radar to detect. We have a Small Obstacle Detection video you can see here
