LMT70A: Analog output if using 2Vin supply?

Part Number: LMT70A

Hey experts!

Are you able to make me a lookup table of Vout if using 2.0Vsupply? Curious if you have that data handy

I'm reading the 9.3.1 steps and am curious around what temperature range would you suggest going from suggestion goes from First Order Transfer Function to Second Order Transfer Function

Datasheet mentions first order for 10C range- curious if we extended to 20C or 30C or 60C range what your suggestion would be

Thanks!

Cameron

  • Hi Cameron,

The difference in power supply level of Vdd at 2.7 V vs. 2 V should have minimum impact according to the PSRR (APSS in the datasheet) spec. So I recommend using the values in the LUT from the datasheet.

To answer the question related to the order of the transfer function: this would depend on the range that your end application will cover as you pointed out. In general, a higher order equation will yield the most accuracte results accross the full range. The downside is that a higher order equation takes longer to compute and convert into temperature by a controller. If this is not a concern, I recommend using a 3rd order equation for best accuracy performance.
