AWR1843BOOST: which demo for range, doppler velocity and azimuth\elevation?

hi,

I want to know which demo should I use , for my task: detecting objects' range, velocity and azimuth or elevation?

what about automated parking demo, SRR demo, and mrr_beamforming etc.?

I have no any idea about proper demo, give me more details , thanks.

    Hi Wembanyama,

    I suggest you to use the demo in the SDK for your task. Almost all the demos can be used but the documentation provided in the demo (present in SDK) helps to get good understanding. SRR demo, automated parking demo etc. are designed for a specific use case but you can still try to use them.

    I have installed SDK3.5.0.4 before, so SDK_03_06_00_00_LTS you mentioned is neccesary?

    could I install both sdk version or even more version sdk?

    as you know, previously, CCS+sdk3.5.0.4 configuration is done to me, maybe I wont use CCS, but I don't know what effect no sdk3.5.0.4, so I want to be sure, if my concern above is required? after installing sdk3.6.0.0  without uninstalling sdk3.5.0.4 in my PC?

    after your confirming I will bring into use demo and study, but not low efficency.

    Hi Wembanyama,

    SDK_03_06_00_00_LTS is the latestest version. So, I suggest you to use SDK_03_06_00_00_LTS if you want to use the mmWave demo from the SDK.

    Yes, you can install any number of SDK versions. One thing to remember while building a project from CCS is that, the path of the required SDK version should be used. It's not required to uninstall SDK3.5.0.4.

    SRR demo is only for AWR1642. So you can implement your task using Automated Parking or mmWave Demo from the SDK. You can try running both the demos and decide which one can be used for your task.
