Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR2E44
TI does not typically specify acceptable x-ray levels on the device datasheet.
Experience has shown that most TI products will NOT be sensitive to typical x-ray inspection (with typical exposures < 100 rad(Si)). Texas Instruments suggests that X-ray exposures over these limits, however, may cause damage to the device and should be avoided.
With that said, Automotive parts AWR2944 and AWR2E44 have been bombarded with X-Ray levels of above 2500 rad(Si) by Tier 1 customers and still dont show any sensitivty and work perfectly fine.
Such X-Ray rating would hold true for all Radar devices.
