LDC5072-Q1: What's the sensing distance?

Hi,

Customers have selected this chip for gearbox gear position applications.

Now you want to know the placement, what is the sensing distance? Want to see this can meet the space requirements in the structural parts, on the other hand, beyond a certain range will detect the surrounding iron devices.

The customer review manual does not write out relevant data in detail, please help to provide.

    Rhea,

    We don't have detailed information on the sensing distance for this part.
    The usual spacing we advise for monitoring the rotational position of a motor shaft is 1mm-2mm for best accuracy.
    It will work for larger distances, but it won't be as accurate.

    That's about all we can say for now.
