TMP112AIDRLR timming issue

Hi

In our product, we refer to the Qualcomm FSM200xx chipset design.

In the reference design, The TMP112AIDRLR functions as PA thermal sensors and the I2C is connected to the RF transceiver.

As we measured the I2C signal, we noticed that the Data hold time was out of spec (result = 4us / spec = 0.1 ~0.9 us).

I raised this issue to Qualcomm and they also want me to have a discussion with you about if this result is ok or not.

  • The slave/target device is not impacted by max hold time; it takes no action in regards to hold time. The max hold time is copied from I2C spec where a specific frequency is used. If you are using a slower frequency, it is possible to have a longer hold time.

    thanks,
