Hi, can you provide any info on the likely EMC immunity performance of TMP117?

Hi Bob,
Unfortunately we do not have EMC immuniity data collected on TMP117. Could you please provide some detail about the application and why you want this information? It will be helpful for us to determine which applications desire this testing and why.
Thanks

Hi Alex,
Thanks for your response.
We're heading into doing EMC immunity testing on a design including TMP117. It would be convenient to know what parts of the overall design are likely to be susceptible as part of designing the EMC immunity pass/fail criteria. I would expect the TMP117 to perform well and not be a problem, but it would be good to have additional understanding from TI.
I thought you might have some information about this, because one of your app notes contains this claim "The TMP117 has been tested extensively for EMI/EMC using IEC defined electromagnetic compatibility standards". There is a bit of a discussion of immunity testing in the document, but more info would be useful.

Hi Bob,
I did a little digging, and that reference design was done by a different team in TI than mine so that's why I missed it. I reached out ot the authors, and all the information about the EMC testing done on TMP117 is in the design guide of the reference design you linked. The TMP117 passed all the EMC tests that it was subjected to, and the standards for each test are listed as well. I don't have any more information to provide unfortunately. Is there a particular piece of information that you feel is missing or would be helpful? I don't think I'll be able to get anything else for this reference design but it will be helpful with our future EMC testing.
Thank you
-Alex
