IWR6843: Configuration for detecting static objects

Hi,

I am using IWR6843 radar module. Radar is not able to detect the static objects. For moving object, it works fine.

Is there any configuration setting to do in config file to detect static objects?

Please use the Area Scanner demo to detect static objects.

Hi Nathan,

Till now I have done radar testing with long range people detection binary. LRPD binary is best suited for our application. So is there any modifications that can be done so that I can detect static objects with same LRPD binary? Or is there any equivalent binary which can have LRPD features as well as static object detection feature?

It will be really helpful.

Hi,

Can you turn off the static clutter feature in the demo? It should be in the configuration file.
