TMCS1123: Non-Linearity Error

Hi team,

I try to recommend this device in PDU project, could you help check the questions below:

One question is about Non-Linearity Error.

 

My understanding is that if Non-Linearity Error is ±0.1% and I do a single point calibration, does that mean that the output of the HALL IC achieves 0.1% accuracy under OUT Voltage Linear Range?

    Hi Lillian,

    Thank you for your post. 

    We actually recommend two point calibration to remove offset and gain error. This should be done with every other condition at your normal operating conditions. 

    Then the non-linearity error assessment should be used. Does this make sense?
