Greetings Forum!
I am trying to understand the Zoom-FFT algorithm used in the High Accuracy Lab for Level Sensing!
The available user guide has very little literature to be referred in a research article.
In legacy textbooks, Zoom-FFT is largely used for conserving computational resources by decimating the sampling rate and considering a smaller portion of the signal while still maintaining the requisite frequency resolution. However, Texas Instruments has offered an effective method to increase the frequency resolution of a small portion of the Nyquist Interval.
The simplified understanding in the user guide maybe sufficient from an implementation or application engineer's perspective but for academic research based on using an efficient, high performance Zoom-FFT, I would like to requst some sources where this Algorithm was inferred for. Nevertheless, if this is an original patent of Texas Instruments, then with permission of TI, how to cite this in a research article.?
In summary, I want to better my understanding of the assocaited concepts, relate that understanding with the source code and finally cite it in an academic research.
Looking forward.
Best Regards
Ali
