Part Number: PGA302EVM-037
I'm trying to set the P Gain of PGA302 to amplify the differential voltage from Resistive Bridge Emulator. I have set the jumper settings as mentioned in the user guide so as to connect the output of the resistive bridge emulator to VINPN and VINPP. Top of the bridge emulator is connected to VBRGP. J11 is closed, so SENT output is connected.
The first problem is: the differential voltage of the bridge emulator is not the same as (VINPP- VINPN). The Vp terminal voltage differs from the one shown on GUI.
But even ignoring that, giving an external voltage to the VINPN and VINPP pins does not have any effect on Vout. Changing the settings in the Analog Front End and also directly entering the value in register 0x47 (P_GAIN_SELECT) of DI PAGE 2 does not change the Vout. Yes, I'm doing it in RESET MODE and changing back to RUNNING MODE to see the output(I've read all the threads relating to this EVM).
- How should I deal with this? Am I missing something else? Or could it be the EVM'S issue?
