Hi Vamsi,

Are you able to connect to the DCA? You should be able to see the FPGA version after successful connection to the DCA.
And I could see that the NERR LED is glowing on AWR1843 EVM. Can you confirm that once?

Can you check if SW2 switches on DCA1000 are set properly or not?

You can refer to [FAQ] Queries related to mmWave Studio - Sensors forum - Sensors - TI E2E support forums and check the SW2 switches.

Can you try the following-

Use Studio CLI tool present in the Radar Toolbox (ti.com) to capture the ADC data
Ping to 192.168.33.30 to check the connection

Hi Vamsi,

As you are unable to connect to the DCA1000, I wanted you to check the status of the connection using PING command. The default destination Ethernet port address configured in the DCA1000 EVM is 192.168.33.30 and socket number is 4098. User has to ensure that target PC is set with this IP address to receive the raw ADC data from the DCA1000 EVM. If the ethernet connection is established, you should receive packets from DCA1000. Now you can open mmWave Studio and try to capture ADC data. If the ethernet connection is not established, try changing the ethernet cable.

If the ethernet connection is established and you are still unable to connect to DCA1000, then you can try using Studio CLI tool present in the Radar Toolbox (ti.com) to capture the ADC data.

Download and install the Radar Toolbox.
Navigate to RADAR_TOOLBOX_DIR\tools\studio_cli
Refer to docs folder to find the Getting Started User Guide that helps you in using the tool.

Hi Vamsi,

Can you please check if you have set the device type (MMWAVE_DEVICE_VARIANT) and COM port number (COM_PORT_NUM) in mmwaveconfig.txt located at RTB_DIR\tools\studio_cli\gui\mmw_cli_tool? Refer to "RTB_DIR\tools\studio_cli\docs\mmWave_Studio_CLI_Getting_Started_Guide.pdf" for the steps to run the tool.
