MMWCAS-DSP-EVM: MMWCAS-DSP-EVM not working: Error - "Create Application Response from Capture Card timed out!!"

Part Number: MMWCAS-DSP-EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MMWCAS-RF-EVM

Dear applications experts,

We have MMWCAS-RF-EVM and MMWCAS-DSP-EVM boards and we are trying to set them up with the help of mmWave Studio

In the "mmwave_studio_cascaded_user_guide.pdf", it is mentioned that the Configuration and Capture of the devices can be done in two ways:
1. Using LUA scripts (Section 7.2)
2. Using GUI (Section 7.3)
Based on this instruction, I have selected the second option, which is set to "using GUI". I followed all the instructions under Section 7.3 and another part of this user guide that was related to GUI only.

I am attaching a link to the video of all the steps I am following on the mmWave Studio. All the steps seem correct. Just before going to capture the data, I am getting an error message: "Create Application Response from Capture Card timed out!!"

Find the link to the video below:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1YFY9BEHSaHOMy-nL1sVKgZg1s6o-x7g5?usp=sharing

You can see towards the end edge of the video that there is the following error we are getting:
Create Application Response from Capture Card timed out!!

Please help us to rectify this error. I already have an extensive conversation with the Texas support team through the email "TI Customer Support <support@ti.com>".  The discussion was going on under the subject title "CS2231977: MMWCAS-DSP-EVM/MMWCAS-RF-EVM: Set up help, for your reference." Marvin, from the Texas Support team, has suggested that I post my concern here. The last reply I got from them is as follows:

"Hi Dr. Kumar,

Good day and thank you for sharing the video.

It appears that your set up is correct as the board was able to communicate with the GUI. To better help with the troubleshooting, we will need the guidance from our applications experts through TI's E2E (engineer to engineer) forum as they are the best resource to support your request. Please post your inquiry on our E2E support forums via the following link to connect with our applications team: https://e2e.ti.com/p/addpost

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if further assistance is needed.

Regards,

Marvin Arcangel

Please look into the video and tell us what error we are making during the device setup through mmW-studio.

Regards,
