Dear Sir,
Follow our earlier question of https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors-group/sensors/f/sensors-forum/1316049/awr6843aop-is-it-possible-to-use-beam-forming-to-do-zone-detection-one-zone-by-one-zone-on-in-cabin-s-child-present-detection.
Currently, by using example of "Incabin_3DOccupancyDetection" on AWR6843AOP, we meet one major/critical issue that Child signal from Cloud point will be disappeared if there are other adults in one car.
Therefore, we want to implement BeamSteering method to detect each car seat one by one to avoid this issue in the example of Incabin_3DOccupancyDetection on AWR6843AOP.
By referring the thread of https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors-group/sensors/f/sensors-forum/1006702/iwr6843aop-tx-beamforming-with-iwr6843aop-is-it-possible, we have studied to the example of "radar_toolbox_1_30_01_03\source\ti\examples\Long_Range_People_Detection\src\6843".
And, we also understand the configuration from "Beamforming_in_LRPD.pdf" (ex: dfeDataOutputMode to 3, channelCfg, profileCfg, advFrameCfg and subFrameCfg).
Our question is that if we want to implement BeamSteering in the example of Incabin_3DOccupancyDetection on AWR6843AOP. Except for adding the related command(dfeDataOutputMode to 3, channelCfg, profileCfg, advFrameCfg and subFrameCfg) into chirp_configs, have any other place/program we need add/modify ?
It's very sorry we're not familiar with mmwave SDK. If you can give us some hint/instruction, it will be helpful for us. Many Thanks again for your assistance.
Sincerely,
TC.Chou
