AWR2243: connection to application/user uart port on custom board

Part Number: AWR2243
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH, , DCA1000EVM

Hi everyone, we are using a AWR2243 chip (ES 1.1) on a custom board and it is the first time we bring it up.

We are trying to flash the binary image from dfp 02.02.04.00 using Uniflash. The device is in SOP5 (101) and the Application/User UART port is correctly shown in the device manager (driver installation correct and device marked as working). However we keep receiving this error:

I tried the same steps with a AWR2243BOOST and everything works without problems. Both devices are connected to a DCA1000EVM.

The first time we connected the device to the PC it was appearing in the device manager as Tiva Device Firmware Update, following this post https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors-group/sensors/f/sensors-forum/679420/iwr1443boost-how-to-flash-board-presenting-as-tiva-device-firmware-update we solved the issue. Is there something else that we should do to enable correct communication with the port (like changing the serial number or loading some additional firmware) ?

Thanks for the help
