Please tell me which radar sensor for a drone I should choose if in one case I need to avoid a collision with another drone, and in another case if I need to ensure a collision with another drone.

Hello Andrei.

Please take a look at our drone obstacle detection experiment page for information about testing we have done for drone obstacle detection with the IWRL6432. Due to the update in FCC regulations, drones can now use radar devices in the 60-64 GHz frequency and so the IWRL6432 and the IWR6843 would both be viable options.

In my case, the main characteristic of the radar is the maximum detection range.
And it seems to me that this is a general case, not just mine.
The maximum speed is also desirable to be higher, but this is not critical.
I do not see such characteristics, and this does not allow me to make a choice.

Hello Andrei.

You can use our experiment configuration as a starting point and tune it further to meet your requirements. You can utilize our mmWaveSensingEstimator tool to load in this original configuration and then modify it while seeing the chirp characteristics change in real time.
