I purchased this IWR6843AOPEVM to test Radar function and to see if I can see the GUI mode with this board. 

I also installed these 3 file in my pc to connect this board but I can not see any device on my device management. 

Please let me know the way how to debug and build this board.

    Hello, 

    Please let me know more specifically what you are trying to accomplish. Are you simply trying to run one of our example demos? Are you trying to make modifications to one of our examples and rebuild/debug? Or are you trying to capture raw ADC data for analysis/ advanced algorithm development?

    Regarding not being able to see the com ports in device manager, this could be for multiple reasons:

    1. Please ensure that you are connecting the USB to the correct micro-USB port on the EVM. You should connect to the port which is on the smaller portion of the EVM (the one closer to the radar device). 

    2. You may need to install the appropriate drivers to your PC. I see that you have downloaded and installed the ti_emupack drivers; however, those drivers will not help for this particular board since this bord uses the Silicon Labs uart bridge. Please install the correct Silicon Labs drivers from this link: https://www.silabs.com/developers/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers?tab=downloads

    now I can activate mmWave Demo Visualizer with this IWR6843AOPEVM board.

    one more question is that I'd like to activate fall detection function of this tool.

    Hi, 

    I'm glad you have the Out-of-Box demo running with the mmWave Demo Visualizer. 

    For running the Fall Detection Demo, please follow the instructions on this page. A different visualizer is used for the Fall Detection Demo. You will need to download the Radar Toolbox to access this visualizer.

    I have one more question about this one. Should I need DCA1000EVM board to gather real time data form this IWR6843AOP module?

    Hello, 

    This depends on what kind of data you are trying to collect. If you are only interested in collecting processed radar data (range profile, point cloud, tracked target, etc...) then the DCA1000 is not required. If you want to collect raw ADC data for analysis/advanced algorithm development, then yes, a DCA1000 is also required.
