AWRL6432: AWRL6432 Data Sample rate is ADC Sample rate?

Part Number: AWRL6432
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: IWRL6432

HI

Q1,

under fg is 6432 datasheet. I wonder ADC sample rate and ddc(digital down convert) block.

Receive Subsystem have ADC, Decimation and adc buffers.

usually Decimation block is have down sample. but i can't see dicimation data rate.

ADC sampling rate is equal Decimation sample rate?

Q2.

I read to document (Parameter Tuning and Customization Guide for the IWRL6432 Motion/Presence Detection Demo).

I wonder sample rate(Hz) to using 'Graph' support to CCS Debug Tool.

I write Sample rate like under fig. I writing 20Mhz.

I think Sample rate is digOutputSampRate in radar profile. but wonder to ADC sample rate.

Digital Front-end (Decimation filter chain) output rate is ADC Sample rate? or digOutputSampRate in radar profile?

(swru599) under

ADC data pass DEF. so i think Data sample rate is digOutputSampRate.

we send to sensor to radar profile. digOutputSampRate. (20MHz)

sensor calc see ADC sample rate  = 1/digOutputSampRate.

is it right?  thk you.

  • Hello,

Thanks for reaching out over E2E! If I understand correctly, you are trying to determine if the decimation sampling rate corresponds to the digOutputSampRate and what is the ADC sampling rate, right? If so, the digOutputSampRate does denote the decimation of the 100 MHz input clock. Therefore, the ADC sampling rate is indeed 100 MHz divided by the digOutputSampRate.
