IWR1843: Advisory Number Applicable to Errata

Hi team,

Are there Advisory Number that are not listed in the Errata of IWR1843 but actually apply?

For example, the following is mentioned in the Errata ANA#19 for IWR6843, which I believe applies to IWR1843 as well.

But, there was no mention of ANA#19 in the IWR1843 Errata.

ANA#19

Description: A 47-nF capacitor is needed on the bandgap pin. Not having correct capacitor on this

pin, can cause boot up issues, especially, at negative temperatures. This requirement is

being Included in the errata, as it is a recent change which may not be updated in older

reference designs.

Workaround(s): Use the recommended 47-nF capacitor. For example: part - GRM155R71E473KA88.

Please let me know if there is Advisory Number that is not listed in the Errata of IWR1843 but actually apply.

Hi Kobayashi,

Yes, this is true that advisory ANA#19 applies to IWR1843 as well. It is recommended to use 47nF decoupling capacitor for VBGAP pin to avoid any boot up issues at negative temperature.

Hi Masahiro,

No, the current errata are the most updated version, except for the advisory #19 all advisories are included. You can refer to Rev.D for IWR1843BOOST EVM schematics where the VBGAP capacitor is updated to 47nF.
